　　大家知道“城市让生活更美好”这句话吗？对了，它就是2010年上海世博会的主题语言。这次世博会以节约用水主题，水是生命的源泉，而绿色是生命的色彩，只有充满绿色的城市才有勃勃生机，充满活力，缺少绿色的家园就缺少了宁静、安详。　　2010年世界博览会的上海把绿化作为城市规划的“开场曲”。随着世博会申办工作进入倒计时，表盘上那分分秒秒都躁动着的指针撩拨起所有关心世博会的人的心弦，特别是与世博项目休戚相关的上海市绿化管理局的工作人员。大家知道吗？上海世博会400公顷的申办会址上有80％都将是绿地。绿化对上海2010年世界博览会的城市建设、提高人们的生活质量、都非常重要，而且还能长年带动经济增长。　　世博会的吉祥物是一个全身水蓝色，一双水汪汪的黑白相间的大眼睛，小巧的四肢，组成的——海宝。海宝的形象是用热情的双臂和自信的微笑欢迎来自全球五湖四海的朋友们。他是以汉字的“人”作为核心创意，因为只有全世界的人相互支撑，互相团结，人与自然，人与社会，人与人之间和睦相处，这样才能让城市会更美好。世博会的会徽中三人合臂相拥的图形，形似美满幸福，相携同乐的三口之家；也可抽象概括为“你、我、他”的全人类，表达了世博会“理解、沟通、欢聚、合作”的理念，洋溢着崇尚和谐、聚合的中华民族精神，体现了2010年上海世博会以人为本的积极追求。　　中国上海获得2010年世博会的举办权，是中国的骄傲，也是上海人的幸运。举办一届成功、精彩、难忘的世博会，对中国、对上海具有十分重要的意义和作用。办好2010年世博会，是我们中国的机遇，也是我们中国的责任。我想，在上海和全国人民的共同努力下，在全球人民的大力支持下，2010年世博会必将圆满、成功！纵观世博会百年历史，当一个国家成为世博会主办国的同时，往往也正是代表国力强盛、经济腾飞，民族自立之时，愿中国人民能抓住这一时机，实现中华民族的伟大腾飞！
