• Word processor files: Any common word processor package can be used, although MS Word is preferred. Illustrations, graphics and tables should not be embedded within the manuscript file, but should be included as separate files.• Graphic files: Submit in the format used to create the graphics (e.g. Illustrator, CorelDraw) or in EPS or high-resolution JPEG format. If a dedicated drawing program has not been used, Word, Excel or PowerPoint formats are acceptable. •
Please do not submit files with pdf, zip, rar or other similar extensions.Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher.All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs become the property of the publisher. All parts of the manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Washington, DC: American Psychological Association.Tables and Figures Tables and figures/ illustrations (line drawings, halftones, photos, photomicro-graphs, etc.) should not be embedded in the text, but should be included as separate files. A short descriptive title should appear above each table with a clear legend and any footnotes suitably identified below. All units must be included. Figures should be completely labeled, taking into account necessary size reduction. Captions should be typed, double-spaced, on a separate sheet. All original figures should be clearly marked in pencil on the reverse side with the number, author's name, and top edge indicated, and should be clean originals or digital files. Digital files are recommended for highest quality reproduction and should follow these guidelines:300 dpi or higher sized to fit on journal page EPS, TIFF, or PSD format only Color Figures: Any figure submitted as a color original will appear in color in the journal's online edition free of charge and can be downloaded. Charges are: 500/US$1030 for the first color page and 250/US$515 for each color page after per article. (Color costs will be waived for invited review articles). There are no submission charges or page charges. Proofs: Page proofs are sent to the designated author. They must be carefully checked and returned within 48 hours of receipt. Corrections are limited to printer's errors, no substantial author's changes will be made.Complementary Policy: Each corresponding author will receive 25 reprints of their article upon registration with Rightslink, our authorized reprint provider.
