  5月31日讯:在众多集装箱航运巨头仍在重复着通过“涨价—回落—再涨价”轮回的“运价恢复计划”,以期在不景气的航运市场上赚到钱之时,班轮巨头之首的马士基,这次没有选择跟进。
  从中远集运、中海集运等多家集装箱航运企业了解到,几家企业决定在6月起提高亚欧航线运价400美元/标准箱,这是继四月以来的第三个月连续涨价。
  不过,目前占据亚欧航线第一大市场份额的马士基,却没有跟进这一轮涨价计划,公司对目前市场供需情况下的涨价成功,也并不乐观。
  “全球贸易需求量比较低,各大航运公司还在加速订造新的船舶,预计运力过剩的情况仍将持续到2015年甚至更久。”在昨天发布《马士基集团在中国影响力报告》期间,马士基(中国)有限公司总裁彦辞(JensEskelung)接受记者专访时预计。
  运力增长超需求
  从今年二季度开始,包括中远、中海等集装箱航运企业,一直都在亚欧航线上试探提价,不过实际效果并不好。
  “一般是月初宣布涨价,然后是逐渐回落,到月底再酝酿新一轮的涨价。”中海一位内部人士就告诉本报记者,6月份,公司计划再度提价400美元/标准箱,而这一幅度也是5月初提价的幅度,不过目前的现货市场价格再度回落。
  对于中海的提价,中远也迅速跟进,公司还宣布了自6月15日开始,上调远东至南美东航线货物(包含冷箱)运价。而这一次,马士基则选择了观望。
  “目前的市场现货运价还在往下跌,需求还是不稳定,运价还没有达到可持续发展的水平,”彦辞指出,“如果有机会实现提价,我们会这么做的,但目前看并不可持续,运价恢复计划是否成功,是由市场决定的。”
  彦辞告诉记者,过去五年,集装箱航运的运价每年平均下滑1%~2%,主要就是因为市场还存在运力过剩,“从目前的情况看,2014年还是会以类似的状况存在,预计运力增长5%~6%左右,需求增长只有3%~4%。”
  此轮航运业的运力过剩持续时间之长,已经超出了很多业内的预期,主要是由于需求层面的不景气持续时间长,而众多航运企业又并未停止新船的订购。
  今年年初,刚刚靠出售资产扭亏为盈的*ST远洋(601919.SH),就重启了订购新船的步伐,而在*ST远洋之前,多家国内外航运巨头提前下的大船订单有的已经开始陆续交付,比如马士基订购的运力高达1.8万标准箱的3E级集装箱船(船型船厂买卖)就在去年投运,比此前全球最大的1.55万标箱的“艾玛·马士基”船型,容量又提高了16%。
  彦辞对记者透露,目前3E级大船已经交付了8艘,剩下的12艘的交付按照计划每6~8周会交付一艘,交付会持续到2015年底。而在接收大船的同时,马士基会尽力让新增运力和需求增长保持一致,做好平衡,通过退租或者拆船的方式,将其他船舶撤出市场。“比如我们今年已经拆了14艘船,规模都在标箱之间。”
  P3联盟6月中国给态度
  而在接收全球最大集装箱船后,马士基单船成本的迅速下降也是显而易见的,这也是迫使其他班轮公司只能紧随其后加紧订造大船,否则只能因为成本没有竞争力而被逐出市场。
  根据马士基发布的一季报,马士基航运第一季度盈利4.54亿美元(去年同期为2.04亿美元),尽管运价下滑了5.1%,但单箱成本节约高达9%,货量也增长了7.3%。
  除了大船化的优势越来越明显,集装箱航运巨头们越来越倾向的“合纵联合”,也令未抱团者更加孤独。
  比如马士基、地中海航运和达飞轮船去年宣布计划成立的P3联盟,就是要将各自在亚—欧航线、跨太平洋航线和跨大西洋航线的船队合并,如果获得批准,P3联盟在亚-欧、跨太平洋、跨大西洋航线的市场占有率将分别约为42%、24%、40%~42%,运力规模远超现有其他所有联盟的体量。
  “在P3联盟成立前,需要获得几个相关国家的审批,包括欧盟和美国、韩国、中国等,在中国,公司已经递交了申请,商务部预计在6月会决定是否审批通过。”昨天,彦辞对记者透露了审批的最新进展,而在此之前,P3联盟的审批已经获得了美国的原则性通过。
  “联盟成员的紧密合作,有利于提升行业集中度和航线涨价成功率,而一旦P3联盟获得批准,将对其他航运企业产生更大的冲击。”一位行业分析师对记者指出。
  今年年初,国内两大航运巨头中远集团与中海集团也签署了战略合作框架协议,将在业务发展和项目投资方面优先考虑将对方作为合作伙伴,建立战略联盟、开展合资合作、协调资源配置、互为供应服务商、共同开发客户、开拓新兴市场等,但据记者了解,截至目前,在两家公司重点经营的欧美航线上,实质性的合作仍未开展。
