去西塘其实坐火车还是比较方便的。可以有多种选择，可以直接坐车到嘉善、也可以坐到嘉兴或者上海、苏州。镇江到嘉善的火车有四班车子，见下图，K字头的车子，时间点不好，还是建议坐动车或者高铁吧。

& & 去西塘一定要看夜景，所以住宿这个问题，也是很多人值得考虑的。想当时跟团去西塘，导游把我们拉到一个荒的不得了的地方，夜景也没看着，周围也木有什么吃的。哎！根据网友们的推荐，在网上也搜集了一些住宿的地方。
& & 西塘的客栈是很多的，在景区里的也很多民宿，而且都是很有亲切感的，也有一些主题客栈，风格各异，都蛮不错的。基本都是可以接站的，停车的话，大部分也是可以的，这个倒不用太担心。而且西塘的老板也都是很好说话，很亲切的。
临河民宅类：
(这类客栈是环境好，视野广，有临河，能看到河水观景房间。房间大都是明清古屋和仿古屋，配有雕花大床等古家具，喜欢古代和仿古型的请选择。)
　　1、姚宅：4， (陈阿姨)西塘镇小桐圩街51号房间有近十间，卫生设施有独立也有公用，环境有老楼和新楼之分，老楼有景点，老楼的房间没有独立卫生设施，新楼在环秀桥旁，二楼有一间临水的大房间，公用卫生间，开价138元。
　　2、烟雨人家：2， (朱先生)西塘镇塔湾街9号一共8间房，独立卫浴设施。楼上二间和楼下二间房间侧窗临河。开价100-120元。
　　3、迩易堂：8
(沈小姐)西塘镇塔湾街19弄2号。有房间若干，楼上一间和楼下一间房间临河，公用卫生设施。开价130元。
　　4、河边客栈： (顾先生)西塘苏家弄底。一共三间房，楼上独立卫生间、可惜楼下两间太小了，公用卫生间。100-130元/间
　　5、老街饭店：6 (计先生)楼下是饭店，楼上住宿，有6间房，2间临河，有独立卫生间。120元/间
　　6、环秀客栈：26西塘镇下西街112号。环秀客栈楼上有二间临水的房间，卫生间在楼下且公用，价格100元。
　　7、陈家老宅：1，西塘镇朝南埭17号，陈家老宅前面是酒吧。住宿在酒吧后的院落中，2-3张床的普通房间，是公用卫生间的房间，有一间临河房。130元/间
　　8、长廊客栈：21，而且西塘镇朝南埭2号。有一间临河带独立卫浴的房间，开价120元。
　　9、明榉坊：8，西塘镇塘东街128号临水的那间二楼房间没有独立卫生间(100元/间)。
　　10、似水年华休闲吧：2， (朱先生) QQ:西塘下西街43号(环秀桥下)有一间景观房(100-120元)可以看到古镇小桥，流水，轻舟，亭子，老街及烟雨长廊等西塘特色的综合型景观房，楼上不仅可以喝茶观景，楼下土特产小吃也非常美味诱人，因为朋友介绍的所以住这里，不仅喝茶，上网免费，而且还有老板做的土特产小吃免费品尝，感觉非常惬意。楼上还有一间带朝南阳台的房间感觉也不错。
(这类客栈大都是在古弄里，有明清古屋和仿古屋。安静。配有雕花大床等古家具，古代和仿古型的请选择。)
　　1、静怡轩：4 (陈先生)西塘镇下西街石皮弄8号石皮弄底的房子，有很雅致的饭堂，不过房间大都是公用卫生设施。

(蒋小姐)西塘镇塔湾街40号江宅和桐村二家客栈都要从一私人景点&桐村雅居&里走过(景点不是客栈主人的，不要在景点里观赏和拍照，免得不住宿后向你收门票钱。)房间公用卫生间，楼下有独立卫生间的客房(开价120元)。
　　5、如意楼客栈：，石皮弄口下西街102号二楼两间房间都有卫生间，可惜不临河，开价120元。
　　6、江凝聚客栈： (江先生)西塘古镇狮子桥菜场旁
　　7、西园雅居：2， (叶先生)西塘下西街25弄3号明清老宅，庭院幽深，一切陈设皆为老古董，古朴宁静非他类客栈能比。多为大院府第，多重进深，价格实惠。虽不临河，但可深切体会古镇望族的古韵生活。客房价位：60-120元，价格实惠。

& & 西塘有不少美味的小吃，让我印象最深的是西街上环秀桥头的管老太臭豆腐，挺有名的.闻起来臭，吃了一口，味道还真不错，外面特别酥，里面又很嫩，配上辣椒酱（他家也有甜酱）味道还是相当不错滴，补充一点，这个辣椒酱有点咸的，建议少凃点！附上和小伙伴吃臭豆腐的照片，手里端的就是管老太臭豆腐啦！

我是坐火车去苏州，从苏州坐大巴去西塘
但是从西塘回来的大巴停在了苏州北站，走到苏州火车站还有一站路的距离，要把握好时间
吃饭的地方其实无所谓攻略，走到哪里，就在哪里吃，因为到处都是人哈哈
